Couple ebay NFL HOF auto rcs today- so cheap!

Hey guys. just thought I'd share.

Hendricks charges $20 to sign a card. I won this card for $1.84 + $3 shipping:

I won Fred Dean for $8. On the site I am on, he doesn't have any successes since 2007. I sent him a card a few months ago and got nothing.

I"m starting to like this buying them signed thing!

Make sure you're dealing with a reputable seller when you buy them already signed. From the arrangement of the cards in the scan I know you have found a good one.
I received two cards I won from him today. Nice autos John !

where does this guy (ukredskins) get all these autos from vintage to modern cards? I dont know how he produces gobs and gobs of these. Most look good to me. a Barry sanders he had going off today did not. but who knows.

C.J. gets most of his stuff buying collections large and small. I have heard he has numerous contacts with current and former players as well. Seeing that he buys so much stuff it is virtually impossible to sift out all the bad from the good.I believe ALMOST everything he sells to be good, But if I have a question about his or anyone's autos I'll just pass.
He is probably one of the most reputable sellers on E-bay, I've bought lots of stuff from him in the past. I received a Jim Marshall and a 61 Fleer Jim Norton(Dec) just today.
It can take a couple of weeks to get your stuff sometimes but hey, he is shipping from Scotland.

Here's the two I got from him today, Jim Marshall has less than a 50% Ttm return success and usually wants to charge $10 bucks anyway. I won the card for $5.50.
Mr. Norton passed away last year, wasn't a prolific signer either.

Surprised that Dean doesn't show any successes. I sent custom index cards to him twice and had returns both times in less than 10 days (the first I included a donation and he returned it with a note that he will never charge to sign). I've been meaning to send out a rookie card. Interestingly, I had a quick success with Claude Humphrey while others have suggested he doesn't sign TTM.

My favorite TTM was Barry Bonds (oops, I know most don't care). Personalized and signed a RONL ball and it recently passed PSN/DNA.

A good friend is also friends with Barry and had introduced us a few years ago. My friend gave me Barry's home address and said to mention his name. Not to be a jerk, but please don't ask me for the address.

My most favorite recent ball return was Mariano Rivera as he obliged and signed "Sandman #42" under his own signature on the sweet spot. I'll try to get an image up later.

    John:

Same addy. Reviewed successes and it appears that mine was the last one returned (February 2008).

Anyone collect something like this? I acquired these from a collection I purchased a few years ago, thought they could use a good home. I don't collect stuff like this. Since I live in Canton, I run into this stuff a lot. PM me if interested:

    Ken Houston

    Lou Creekmur

EDIT: Free, by the way. Unless you feel like giving me Ripkens, I always like those! image

    Nice cards.

Jeffcbay- generous! Not cards that I need, but perhaps they would be a good start to a football HOFer auto collection for a younger collector? Is there a football collecting Goot hiding around here?

PM received, they found a home. They're just not what I collect, and I'd rather see them end up with someone who can appreciate them.
