Today's B&M acquisition

Posters over on the US forum regularly complain about B&Ms overpricing coins. I think possibly, they're looking for the wrong type of material. As an example of something I'd consider reasonably priced, I picked this up at the local coin shop today for $20 over melt...

Did I mention how glad I am I developed an interest in the darkside? Instead of fighting a couple dozen people over a dealer's new Morgan dollar purchases, I usually get first crack at great stuff like this.

Spud, did you get that set from a coin dealing Fireman?
<< <i>You got those four lovely ladies for $75 ? >>
The dealer was using an old Krause to price them, and I just went with it since the prices don't seem to change much year to year. When I got home, I got to thinking that had to be too cheap, and checked my catalog, where they were priced quite a bit higher. I felt kind of bad about that, so the next time I was in the store, I told the guy and offered to kick in some more for the coins (yeah, I know- I'm an idiot). He said not to worry about it- he priced them, and it was his fault for not having up-to-date info.

Nope- not there.
...I agree with you, there are some very good deals to be found in World coins at B&M shops.......
