When did you last “cherrypick” your collection and what did you find?

Many collectors have favored parts of their collections – where active purchases and upgrades are an important part of the hobby. But most also have an accumulation of miscellaneous “stuff.” Some from trades, some from buying small collections to get the one or two “good” coins, some from series that are of limited current interest.
When did you last “cherrypick” your own collection and what did you find? was there something you’d forgotten about or possibly a variety you didn’t know you had?
In my case, I found a 1921 Peace dollar VAM-3, a 1927-D VAM-2; a 1916-D dime in AG; a silver denarius of C. Scribonius 154BC; and a gold solidus of Justinian I S-140 H.

The word "WE" is squished together. The letter "T" in Trust is also absent, while "GOD" appears, in hand, to be tripled.
I searched ten rolls (250).

I sold the coin to a forum member that needed it for his set after I found a 46S to replace it in my set.

A 1964-d Kennedy that I had in a folder is a DDO.
Looked at it years ago but must have missed it
A few weeks ago I was looking at an ugly cull of an 1857 cent I had in a folder, I noticed it was the one thats clashed with a 50C!
1941 S/S
and a 1931 DDO

<< <i>This whole cherrypicking yourself doesn't sound very ethical. >>
Just be sure to wash your hands afterward.
I went through some 15th to 18th century junk foreign last night
and briefly thought I had found some Massachusettes silver. It was
heavily worn and is something else.

Nothing. I was never into the VAM thing, but a couple of weeks ago I checked about 80+ Morgan and Peace dollars I've had for decades against a VAM website posted here. I didn't find anything, and now I need stronger eyeglasses.

Thought I would answer the OP's question rather then start a new thread. I guess it's okay to resurrect an old thread, what the heck.
To answer your question: A few days ago, a 63DDO.
Something that always concerned me with this coin collecting hobby.....................having something significant in my collection and not know it. I'm always going through and back through my collection thinking I may have missed something. I think I missed this one!!
I know... The lighting and focus sucks but I think it's all there.
I don't think it's really worth submitting, unless maybe it's a 66 or 67.
