grading advice needed 48B berra 63T mantle

Need advice from the experts, please. If I want to sell these, is it better to grade them and then list them, or sell them raw? I think Mantle gets a 2, Berra a 3MK or 4MK.

Any opinions or advice? Thanks in advance!

Will the Mick even grade? I think it may be MC and not fit into a slab?

    I'd sell them both raw.

I don't see getting them graded will offset the fees to that large an extent.

Thanks Steve - they're my father in law's cards and he asked me to get rid of them for him. I never noticed the miscut, I was busy looking at the corners and wear.

You're right that it probably won't grade.

  • You're about right on the grades. The Mantle will grade I think. There's a bunch of '63s cut like that in slabs.

What I would do is see if the Mantle fits in an empty slab yourself first.

If it does you may have a shot. PSA has been sending me back MC not slabbed cards at least 1 per order
where they are perfectly square. The next time around they get slabbed so I dunno.
