fantasy football...did you make the playoffs?

and if so who are you riding the rest of the way? I had Vincent Jackson on one team..nice start to the week. For me its all about running backs..Jones Drew, Ronnie
and Bush, of course the Bucs D hasn't had a bad year!

    DeAngelo single handedly saved my season (Brady, Earnest Graham, Maroney, Selvin Young, Marvin H, Bulger were among my top 10 picks). It is a tough 12 team league, so waiver wire competition was fierce.

    Having Phillip Rivers as my backup QB has saved me this year but my WR's are the stars of my teams. Greg Jennings, Steve Smith, Lance Moore and Lee Evans on my one playoff team.

    Ive made the playoffs every year since I first played (2000) is it really anything to brag about ? I am a great FF mind, people are always asking for autographs and such. Its kinda annoying image
    Am I speaking Chinese?

    I'm sitting one spot out in my league that I'm doing with my friends. I'm 5th out of 10 but if I win this week and the 4th place team loses (they play the #2 team) then I'll be off to the playoffs.

    My main rotation has been: Aaron Rodgers, Reggie Wayne, Matt Forte, Marion Barber, Shockey, Houshmanzadeh, and Santonio Holmes. My defense rotates week by week but lately I've been using Carolina or Dallas.

    You guys play for money? Each guy in our league throws in $10 so at the end of the season the winner gets $60, 2nd gets $30 and 3rd place get's their $10 back. Not exactly high stakes, but a nice little bonus.

    Time to defend my title!

    Rode Romo, Thomas Jones and Beast Mode to the regular season($400) and most points($270 plus all transaction loot, whoooowheeee) titles... Picked up SD D last night but was afraid to use them, now gotta roll w/Philly vs. NYG (Yuck). Of course Romo has a tough matchup this week and I play the 8 seed who is on a 5 game winning streak. And since Lynch isn't playing this week, I guess I'll use Deangelo Williams for once....


    My receivers suck pretty bad. I guess it's Berrian and Bryant again this week (other options are Holt and Ocho Stinko). It would really suck to dominate the league all year (11-2 losses by a combined 3 pts) and lose this week....

    Beef where were you during the season? I could of used some help! I did start the Bucs D against the Vikings!

    ended up tied for 1st in my division (9-4).

    kurt warner has been a big help. crap, i had vincent jackson riding the pine last night...cost me a nice 20 points.

    On paper, in my best league, I have an awesome rushing and receiving corp. I also have used Eli Manning the last 8 weeks at QB and have the Bears D/ST. I am dead last in a 12 team league.

    nah, that Toronto game never happened... He is listed as probable with the bad back the local sports guy said he missed some practice time, but he'll play - they'll need him with Loseman making the start.

    nope, I have the worst luck in the world when it comes to fantasy football, bar none. Seems like every crazy play, bad coaching decision, etc, costs my team every week. I lost my first 4 games by a total of 12 points, one of them in Week 4 when Warner threw an INT as time expired in a 21 point loss to the Jets after Boldin was already laid out....after that gruesome hit, you'd think AZ would just take a knee and go home....nope, gotta throw one last INT (6 TOs total that game for Warner) in a week where I lose by 1 point.

    Yes...barely. Start 5-0 & finish 7-5. Had the #1 pick & took LT...he's been disappointing. Took a flyer on McFadden that backfired & chose Marvin Harrison too early. Larry Fitz has been good.

    LT gives me just 15 points on Thursday. I need more from him. His backup (on my bench), Sproles had 16 points....

    Last year I was down 1 point during the monday night game. It was the last play of the game. I had Alex Smith as my QB and Frank Gore as my RB. The Niners
    were at the one yard line....how could I lose right? Pass I win, Run I win.....The niners do an end around to Arnaz Battle and I lose by 1 point. I never
    recovered from that and only won 2 games the whole way!
