SMR on '57 Topps Basketball PSA 8.5 Common?

Just curious as to the SMR on a common '57 in 8.5? thanks

    and if it's a low/no pop 9, could be through the roof
  • First off from a collectors perspective there are no "Commons" when it comes to this particular set. Cards graded PSA 8 are the equivlant of PSA 9's in most other sets. PSA 8.5 can as Vito points out in many instances be the highest graded card of a player in this set and from a monetary point of view be treated as a PSA 9 with a Pop of 1.In my set alone some of the 8's listed such as #22 Marshall,#26 Shue,#34 Sauldsberry and #66 McMahon would easily draw top dollar in a 8.5.
