First off from a collectors perspective there are no "Commons" when it comes to this particular set. Cards graded PSA 8 are the equivlant of PSA 9's in most other sets. PSA 8.5 can as Vito points out in many instances be the highest graded card of a player in this set and from a monetary point of view be treated as a PSA 9 with a Pop of 1.In my set alone some of the 8's listed such as #22 Marshall,#26 Shue,#34 Sauldsberry and #66 McMahon would easily draw top dollar in a 8.5.
