SUB POPPED- I'm getting really dissapointed with this.

Clearly the standards and the graders have completely changed. I will post some scans when I get these back. Not one 8 out of 15 cards and about 7 or so were clearly NM-MT. The Santo was about as nice as it gets. The Carter rookie was a sure 8. The Nitschke was the worst one of the bunch and clearly NM and that gets a 7 when the best ones get a 7 and one 7.5. Scans to follow. Is PSA hurting financially where they are begging for resubs? It's starting to look like that.

I feel the same way. 62T is being routinely undergraded by a grade to a grade and a half these days (relative to the last 5 years), and 75T seems to be not far behind. I have been sitting on stacks of each, waiting for things to return to normal. Guess I'll keep waiting.

    Tough break Mickey.

Ya gotta stop trimming your cards (just kidding.) I had like 8 cards come back Evid of Trim. The grader from Hades got my sub.
    Here's PSA's explanation to me:
"Grading is subjective and may not be the same between authentication companies. Every card goes through a minimum of two or more authenticators who must agree on the grade while not knowing what the previous authenticator graded it. When there is evidence of trimming, the size could be a hairline of a difference. The size is not always the leading factor of deeming a card trimmed.
Evidence of Trimming - When a card’s edge has been altered, a card doctor may use scissors, scalpel, cutter, or any other cutting instrument. A trimmed card may show one of the following: Hook up or down, have one razor sharp edge, a difference in toning along the edge, a wavy look."

I'm taking this up with PSA. We'll see how far this will go....

SGC hammers you silly on 62's, 75's, and 71's as well (atleast they did as of 5 months ago). It's best to sit it out for a stretch.
