Matte Proof Lincoln's for the week of 12-4

Looks like we got another VDB coming to auction! If your not bidding, its still fun to watch these coins go to the highest bidder. Speaking of the highest bidder, the 1916 and 1915 mattes sold a few weeks back are still increasing prices for the second week in a row on the PCGS value guide. My lowly 1916 64 R&B has gone up $2000 in two weeks and is now valued higher than my 63 R&B 1914 D. While some coins sold at or just below the guide, the economy still does not seem to have impacted MPL buying. But we do have a whopping 50 mattes ( a new MPL list record) up for sale. With so many available on the market and the economy on the skids, will we still see prices hold come January 15th??? Does this high number mean folks are selling off ?? or just trying to capitalize on the big increases MPL’s have had over the past year?
