    That got poofed? That's absurd. What is wrong with a little humor?

    No harm done, a little levity, I guess I should just keep quiet.

    Just to help people relax though, as if any of you were worried; our star/sun will never go nova.

    Can't happen, not enough mass. However, in 8 billion years or so, it will become a red giant and pretty much leave this planet a charred cinder with no atmosphere or water. Precious metals will still be around though, just melted back into the planet where they came from.
