Are you watching more hockey, and liking it ?

A bit more than last year, which isn't saying much, but still just a fraction of my pre-2005 viewership and overall interest in the league.

I'm watching as much hockey as I ever did, but the title of the thread asks if I'm enjoying hockey.

    I'm a Stars fan.

    So, no.
This is for you @thisistheshow - Jim Rice was actually a pretty good player.

Yes. I am even watching games on verses that don't involve my FLYERS.

By the way, what did Sean Avery say to get suspended indefinately? Must have been real bad.

    Thanks,

No, I lost alot of my interest when the players went out on strike.

The addition of the shootouts made me lose what little interest I had left.

I do like listening to a game on the radio though.

    Shot...........save!!!!!

Ask me again in June when they are playing for the cup.

    Steve
    Good for you.
  • Lightning are HORRIBLE (lost 5 straight) , but I still watch games whenever they're on local TV. I went and saw them play the Wild earlier this season and the ST. Pete Times Forum was probably 80% full (just a guess), so they're still drawing solid crowds despite the suckage.

Ever since that strike my passion for hockey subsided. I LOVE the Flyers and always see if they win or lose, but I don't have to watch every minute of every game like I used to.

That's actually pretty good. The New Jersey Devils have won a few Stanley Cups, and they can't fill 65% of the building most of the time.

I'm enjoying hockey more than I ever have.

The Mites have started. High School hockey is around the corner. The Gophers are decent and lastly my team switched leagues to a rink 5 minutes from my house.

As for the NHL, I'll enjoy that in late March.
