Should Newbie Buy Silver Bullion??

With the Cashback program going on now I want to invest in some bullion, I have many coins but just want some metal to put away. I can't afford gold so I'm looking at Silver. I've already bought 50oz at about $12.23oz for 2008 SAE's and thinking about more. Do you think this is a good place to put this monet or should I be looking at something else?

Thank you,
Chuck,

If you don't have much silver, it is fine to buy a little more here.

If you already have plenty of silver, it is best to wait a little while before buying much more.

my only advice is that be patient on your purchases. it sounds like
you know about the live.com discount and try to wait for a coupon
to really get your money's worth.

as in, try to get quality rounds for under 11-12 an ounce. ASEs for example. Paying too large of a premium simply means silver has to go
up that much more before your profit. With that said 12.23 is an exceptional
buy when you compare it to what most folks were paying 2 months ago.

Myself? I like silver under 11-12 but with the intentions to resell it
pretty much immediately. Not to hold long term.
