PSA - Thanks for the 2009 Calendar

Especially since I have been lax about renewing my membership, the calendar and SMR were a nice surprise. I'll be re-upping soon.

Now if we could just do something about the spam emails from 4sc, just collect, psa set guy, orange county sports, etc...image

How asinine to think that Spam will coax people buy from you. Mind boggling.
  • I really missed not receiving the 2008 edition. I still am submitting to BGS due to the annual fee you charge though.
edit, I ONLY spent 3k thru BGS last year. Your free submissions and book/tote bag do not eqaul $100 to ME. I dont need that level.

Skilow... You make a strong point. Though PSA holds the lions share in the industry. One can't help but wonder if submissions would increase greatly (casual collectors), if the membership requirement were dropped. I do love my tote bag however image

Gumby, oatmeal-raisin please. Feeling a little irregular over here.

I think there is no doubt that PSA submissions would increase if the membership requirement is reduced. Its kind of a false sense of being frugal though as you virtually get your membership costs back in the value of the free subs.

The thing to look at now is the sell prices of the various companies. On some items PSA is not the highest, but from my view the majority of cards do sell higher in PSA holders comparative to their grading counterparts, especially in registry sets.

IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY

Between the 12 free subs with my two year subscription, and selling all of my SMRs when they arrive, I always get my money back, and then some.

I aslo received my free calendar and SMR magazine , and it is much appreciated , as I enjoy looking at the neat cards on the calendar ! I too , have not renewed my membership yet , but plan on re-upping when I get some extra funds ! The free grading submission is well worth the membership fee along with the online pop and price guide ! .................. Dave ' Robbie' Robinsonimage
