Ok I just stumbled across this auction of a 1oz Johnson Matthey platinum bar. The seller has it listed with a BuyItNow price of $1,050.00 and free shipping, he's got 100% positive feedback. If you use the Live.com cashback discount that makes your end price a mere $850.00. Platinum is currently at $868.00 according to Kitco. This is what I would call a good deal. I'd buy it but I don't have that much cash layin' around for PM's. Figured I should let you all know about it though and keep the good deal in the family so to speak.

    Deal is over. Looks like people bid the damn thing up so high that it met its reserve and the BIN option was taken away. Oh well, I tried.
