maybe it's the paint fumes....

the wife has got me redecorating the house and between the painting, chair rail installation, sanding, caulking and more painting, maybe it's affecting my short term memory.

You guys have got me convinced that maybe I should just delete this thread and get an early start on my sleep.

Actually, that is a VERY real possibility, and if so, you could be in some trouble. If you don't have proper ventilation, the fumes could seriously be affecting you. Paint is nasty stuff, you don't want to be inhaling that without plenty of ventilation!

Here's a simple test to see if in fact the paint fumes are effecting your judgement.


Count all the black dots and report back for results.

HaHa,

to be honest, I've always enjoyed painting, wallpapering and building things. I learned how to wallpaper at age 12. My Dad taught me. He made so many mistakes that someone had to do it!!

I definitely draw the line at cleaning toilets though.

OK, the mystery is over.

Seems my "Text Size" computer settings somehow mysteriously changed from 'smaller' to 'Largest' - that's a 4-fold increase.

This increased the font of the date of membership and postings from a very small font size to a VERY large font size.

I actually did question the font size possibility earlier in my postings, so it seems the paint fumes have no effect on me.
