Is this a candidate for an acetone dip?

The obverse has what looks like glue on it. The reverse is pristine. Do you think a dip in acetone would help it? The small dark patch on the obverse, looks to be dirt, a quick hit with a toothpick should take care of that.

    i'd say yes...not sure on putting a toothpick close though
    everything in life is but merely on loan to us by our appreciation....lose your appreciation and see

    I would soak it for an hour and rinse it and see if it needs to soak longer.

    Hold off on the toothpick.

    And acetone will help with that.
    Some coins are just plain "Interesting"
