Kind of an odd question, just about anything will get the green off the coin, try soap and water, if that does not work try rubbing it with a cloth, if that does nto work there is always the belt sander.
Got a pic? Once cleaned off, there may be damage exposed in the form of pitting. There have been several past threads concerning this topic suggesting soaking in olive or mineral oil for several months and then using a tooth pick or rose thorn to remove the verdigris.

The wet green is closer to the surface, the thick green is deep in the coin.

IF so, it can easily be removed with a day soak in acetone. The coin below was the middle one in the group.
