Unlikely Pairings: Topps card and Van Halen

May 27, 1979, a dejected Mitch Danielsen stumbles home after a night on the town... alone... as usual. The women just aren't interested in him, and he can't figure out why. So Mitch pops open a Schlitz and whips out his collection of Yankee baseball cards. As he's looking them over, he notices the Van Halen mix tape on the counter that Jan, in Accounting, handed back to him earlier that day. He thought for sure she was a Van Halen fan, but judging by the look on her face when he handed it to her, that couldn't have been the case. Then he noticed the camcorder, and the rest is history...

I have to respond to this thread for one reason, my buddy died today at 3:55 p.m. he was 41 years old and was a huge Van Halen fan, just seemed like it was meant to be.
