2008 UD Icons - Great Box Rip!

I took my son to the local card shop today instead of our usual Saturday morning visit since I have the day off. There wasn't too much new and interesting there. I hardly ever buy new wax outside of A&G and Goudey blasters and never buy modern football wax, but I was determined to rip something today and settled on a box of UD Icons football. The box states one autograph and two jersey cards per box with 10 packs per box. You also have a chance to pull Hollywood memorabilia card - I honestly don't know why they have started doing this. Anyway, I've never pulled anything really great and have never ripped a "hot" box, so this box was fantastic for me.
For just 10 packs, there was a good mix of stars:

Some good rookies and inserts:

At least the Hollywood memorabilia card is an autograph. Since I'm a Star Wars fan and collector, Billy Dee Williams isn't all that bad of a pull considering. I hate redemptions though:

I pulled three other jersey cards, a Brady Quinn, a Franco Harris Lettermen numbered #01/51, and a Barry Sanders:

This was the highlight of the box though. An Adrian Peterson autograph card #'d 29/35:

We were pretty excited and had to share. Thanks!

<< <i>Great stuff! I love the design except I wish they did a better job for the autographs. They should made that area all gold where they place the stickers to show the auto better. Some really nice pulls though! >>
I know what you mean. The auto doesn't necessarily "pop" out, but I'm not complaining.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
<< <i>great box!! >>
And coming from you, that's really saying something!!! Hope you've been well, Mike!
