PCGS # for the 2008-W 1/4 OZ Plat....

Does anyone know what the PCGS number may be? I checked pop reports, price guide, and even registry sets, and there is no number. Whats up with that so late in the year? Is this the norm (though I cant see it being the norm)? Gotta send this one in and make a 70....lol Thank you in advance.
I'll come up with something, eventually.

Just in case you got a proof!!!!
  • Goldbully...yes, the Unc's. I'll be brutally honest, I am a platinum member, have access to the on-line pop report, but I STILL can't find it. Also, there is no number in the PCGS number in the registry sets. Are you sure you didn't photoshop that or sumthin'? lol I do have a college education, know how to read the reports, but I'll be damned if I can find it at all, making me feel verrrrry stupid (not to mention frustrated). Maybe I'll just remove the plat from the capsule and 'heads, its not photoshopped, tails it is'....LOL

    I don't have a college education.....hope that helps!!! image

Edited to add, I'm still a college senior in my late 50's!!!
  • Oh hell, education has nothing to do with it! lol I just want to know where/how you found it...I turned it upside down!!! lol

  • It's a matter of pattern recognition.

The numbers for the platinum coins come in clusters for any given year and mintage. The 2006 unc W's numbers are all together as are the 2007 unc W's.

So, if you know the 2008 W $50 unc is 393082 -- and that one is on the population report table -- then by entering numbers above and below this number (add 1, then 2, then 3, then subtract 1, 2, 3 etc.) on the "Lookup by PCGS number" field on the PCGS Population report home page, you can get the others.

    Have fun.
