I never knew that you can get paid to write for The Numismatist...
I was taking a look at the latest issue of the Esylum, and I saw a note from the editor of The Numismatist. They are looking for original articles, and I never knew you got paid by the word for submissions. Everyone knows that Longacre can write a manifesto if he wanted to, but I don't think it would be worthy of publication and the magazine probably has word limits. I tried to click on the link to get more of the details, but it didn't seem to work. I am sure the guidelines are somewhere on the website, though.
Did anyone else know this, and if not, are you now planning on writing something for the magazine?
Here is the blurb:

He along with the IKE Group posted the PegLeg IKE's article.
The name is LEE!
However, you won't get rich. If you figure the payment on a per hour basis, then I probably got a few cents per hour.
Do it for the recognition, not the cash.

They printed one of mine in March 1957, but they couldn't spell my name right, hence I am not famous yet.
