I have the opportunity to purchase 1953 thru 56 Topps baseball commons that I would consider very good to excellent. most are about VG Is $1.50 to $2 each low balling the seller???? am I in the ballpark on these prices??? or is everyone on this board going to jump all over the prices I've noted wanting me to buy their stuff (ie. I'm willing to pay too much)???? I got these estimates from watching ebay auctions and some recent auctions from other houses for basically commons....also does anyone know what the going rate would be for stars from these years, same type condition??? 10% beckett??, 20% 30% 5% or just save my money???? any help appreciated. thanks and happy thanksgiving everyone. al.

I would check sportslots and see what they are selling for there. Also, you may be able to make an offer and see if they would put the lot on ebay where you can use the 25% live discount.
