According to the Alpha Si Pissalon theory of which beer is better, new data suggests that these beers could have been
better tasteing if these conditions were taken into consideration.........
People who attend baseball games should be made aware of this new important data................
1. The type of glass these beers were brewed in showed that Coors Light had an unfair advantage over Miller and Bud.
2. Coors light was served more in hot ball parks, thus it gave a more refreshing taste then Miller and Bud, who were generally
sold more in northern parks.
3. Coors was never as good as Bud in Milwaukee. Could be due to a home field advantage for Bud. However, Bud's POG ratio
shows that more data may be needed, as Bud performs pretty well on the road too, except in hot weather.
4. The Hall of Fame would have been more easily attained by Miller if they didn't switch to plastic bottles at your ballpark in the
mid 1990's.
5. Bud was at a disadvantage in Los Angeles and Anaheim, as compared to Coors in Philadelphia. A good beer just tastes better with
a cheese steak, then with quiche.
All these factors now show us that some beers could have performed better in certain ballparks if certain conditions applied.

Bud has a much longer career than the others, thus suffers greatly because they choose to brew beyond their prime.
Anyone who dares to disagree with my factor weighting and overall view, must be ignorant, meaningless, trival, be wearing blinders, or not have been delt a full deck, and is a personal enemy, very highly disturbing to my emotional health.

Perhaps you missed this in my posts, or maybe you just didn't find it too interesting to accept...
After all, Kingman does compare VERY favorably with Honus Wagner in many certain key areas...
TOp Five HR Seasons...
Kingman 48, 37, 37, 36, 35.
Wagner..10,10, 9, 7, 7, 6.
Highest Total Bases in a single season...
Kingman 326
Wagner..308
Number of times leading the league in HR
Kingman TWICE
Wagner ZERO
Highest Slugging PCT. in a season
Kingman .613
Wagner .573
Career average in RBI per 162 games
Kingman 101
Wagner 100
Yes, those are REAL runs too!!!!!!
Career average in HR per 162 games
Kingman 37
Wagner 6
HR are the best hit. No need to walk when you can hit that many HR.
Career Home Run Frequency.
Kingman One HR every 15 at bats
Wagner ONe HR every 101 at bats
And HR Frequency is not directly expressed in OPS+. Nowhere in the OPS+ forumula do I see HR/ab. So this is just another perspective on one of the newer stats guys like to use(like OPS+). I'm not completely discounting OPS+, but rather showing another person's view on how to look at it.
All Time Record for Most HR in last season, Kingman: 35. I may be wrong on this record, but it sounds right.
The longest HR on record at Wrigley Field
Kingman: three houses past Waveland.
Wagner: never crossed Waveland.
Steve
there is really no place for personal insults herein,
while somewhat funny, please just think how mean it was to the four-legged domesticated mammal, to use him in such a comparison.
Perhaps the reason why Kingman compares so favorably with Wagner in many key ares is because, perhaps he was the better hitter?
No need to get upset just because I am laying out some simple facts.

Absolutely! Nothing further to discuss!
