Liberty Nickel Book

I've found various books on Liberty Nickels on the web, but I wondering if someone could suggest which one is best.

The QDB book Eagleguy referenced is pretty good(and cheap), so I'd start with that one. Then I'd get Peters and Mohon, that may end up free on the DLRC "Stella" site, they own the copyright(I think).

  • Good heck ... how did we ever get along with the internet!

Found A Guide Book of Shield & Liberty Head Nickels for $7.95 (new) on EBay and I also found
    Liberty Nickel site.

Still looking for The Complete Guide to Shield & Liberty Head Nickels by Peters, Gloria and Mohon, Cynthia.

    Thanks everyone.

Don't bother with the Peters & Mohon book. I've owned it and found it to be disappointing. The Bowers "Red Book" is your best bet. It's available and it isn't expensive.
