South African Coin 1942: Help please

I cant seem to find the coin below in the RedBook of Modern World Coins. What is it? Grade? Value? Thank you in advance!

Standard South African six pence, Krause lists it at $3 in xf and $8 in BU.

I thought it was a 6 Pence, but it didnt match the pics in the RedBook. Thanks JCM!

Yes it's a 6pence

That type was minted from 1937-47

The 6pence, switched from saying "6 pence" on the reverse to "6D" in 1931.

1942 mintage is 4 936 000

.800 silver, .0727 oz ASW

I like the color on yours
