Send it back for a refund or send it to PCGS for Error Correction?

I just received a 1878-7TF PCGS MS63 attributed as a VAM-117 from a ebay seller. The "o" in "God" is open at the top left, when according to my VAM book the "o" in "God" is supposed to be closed at the top. I compared the new coin to my PCGS MS64 VAM-141 and the "o" in "God" looks the same or open on both coins. Should I send the coin back to the ebay seller for a refund or send it to PCGS to be re-attributed? I had planned on using this coin in my registry set since I only have a NGC XF45 VAM-117 coin.image

Thanks,
Charlie

Send it back to the ebay seller.
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

Sounds like if you do not have one, and want one and need one, you keep it and deal with PCGS as sending it back to the seller, (who could be unaware) will not get you anything. JMHO.

sounds like you have a 141. they guarentee variety attribution, so they will buy it back or cut you a check for the difference.

Anyone know what pricing figures they would use for determing price difference between these two VAM's?

I paid a pretty hefty premium for the coin, here is the auction link for the coin Link

VAMworld has a good closeup of the open "o" in God, does anybody have a closeup picture of the closed "o" in God for a VAM-117?
