Any problems shipping/insuring to China?

Normally I don't ship to China (got tired of receiving inquiries/instructions written in Chinese characters that I could not decipher), but I have had an inquiry from someone requesting that I ship there. The coin in question is fairly pricey, about $1,000. I would probably be shipping via Global Express Mail insured.

Any potential problems/pitfalls/minefields?

I have shipped coins to Taiwan, global priority insured and have never had a problem.

I've shipped to mainland China using Express Insured with no problem, it was about a $400 coin.

If the seller meets all the rquirement of your insurer, all requirements, I can not see how it could possibly be a problem.

I personally won't ship to China. I have had too many problems, but I've never sent using Express Insured.

And by the way, my shipment was $28 and took 6 days for delivery.

I've used registered mail via the USPS twice now to Beijing without incident. Each shipment was in the $120 range.
