Microsoft Discount-Found Interesting

I purchased an item last night and checked the status. This is the message I received:

Your cashback reward was deposited right after your purchase into your PayPal account, which you used for your eBay purchase.

Actually, it was not applied to my purchase but I checked my paypal account and it was there this morning. It was nice not to have to wait 60+ days. This happen to anyone else?

    Yes, I have heard other people claiming the same thing happened for them.

    I'm not sure, to be honest with you. I know some guys claimed to have received the instant deposit like you have, and I heard some claim that their cashback was pending the normal waiting period. Like yourself, I am a bit curious as to what the deal is.

    I have a question in regard to the discount. Is it apparent when you make the purchase on ebay? I have tried a couple of times from live.com, but it never shows the amount of the discount which makes me wonder if I am doing everything right.

    Any info. is appreciated.

    most of the time it will show up when you hit the buy it now before you confirm. other times I have seen it show up after I confirm the purchase. you should however be getting emails shortly thereafter saying you have received cashback. hope this helps.

    I have used it about 6 times now. It is really tricky, or atleast to me, when you have to go back to the live search to buy another item. If you don't go thru the same search it doesn't show up on next purchase. I never had a problem when I logged on and bought just one item. I think there must be a time limit or session time that has cost me the discount on two different purchases.
    If you see the discount at the top of the ebay page before you hit the BIN you are good to go. It then shows a break down of your pending discount once you hit the BIN and then the emails show up shortly after. All in all it is a good break even for alot of the overpriced BIN out there.

    I used it as recent as a week ago and still have to wait the 60 days.
