FOR SALE AT HERITAGE LONG BEACH: 1940 10C PCGS MS-68 CURRENT BID AT $517.50 INTERESTING NOTE: PCGS P

I bought a lot of gold $20's, a J-2054 steel 1c pattern graded NGC MS-64 (finest graded by either major service) for $9200 PLUS a black NGC slab for $1850 so I needed to raise some funds for these new babies.
Most have already been sold or consigned to Heritage auctions and what seems to be left are the Washington quarters and the Franklin half dollars - probably the two most dead areas of the entire coin market.

All coins have a 14 day return allowance after receipt of the your coins.
Note: those `` you see were only placed there for spacing purposes.
I am awful with taking pictures which is why I give you an extended return policy.
Ask me any questions by pm and I will describe each coin in detail. The good, the bad and the ugly!
If you do not have pm you can email me at oreville21@yahoo.com

Flat $5 charge per coin for s&h&i unless my postage and insurance costs less.

A hold was placed on the 1877 Trade Dollar, a few Washington quarters and I am expecting a hold on a few other coins.

I will be going to the White Plains show (WEPNEX) on Friday Nov 28th at 1pm. So anyone who wants to see any of these coins should pm me.

    Here are some pictures:

    1856 1C --Damaged--ANACS. VF Details, Net Fine 12. Heritage's Comments:
Actually this well known transitional rarity is totally original and, save for a
modestly distracting punch mark to the left of the date, not at all unattractive.
For the Flying Eagle/Indian Cent collector limited by budget constraints,
here's one we wholeheartedly recommend. (#2013)

1945 10C MS61 Full Bands NGC. Heritage's Comments: Boldly struck,
with nearly untoned, lustrous surfaces. A few light marks are seen
on Mercury's face and neck, in the right obverse field, and on the fasces.(#5057)

    1945-S 10C Micro S MS67 Full Bands PCGS.
    Sold at Heritage January 9 , 2002 for $5405.00 Heritage's description:
Even though this variety was discovered two years after production,
there are surprisingly few high grade examples known today.
This piece has bright, lustrous surfaces that show just the slightest
accent of patina on each side. Extraordinarily clean, problem-free,
and fully struck in all areas which makes this example stand out from
the others that are similarly graded. The Harold and Jan P. Kritzman Collection. (#5063)

FOR SALE AT HERITAGE LONG BEACH: 1940 10C PCGS MS-68 POP 7/0 CURRENT BID AT $517.50 NOTE: PCGS PRICE GUIDE AT $300.

I had this coin on this BST for sale at $300 and no one wanted it when I was discounting it to below the $300 figure.

Yet at Heritage, it is already at $517.50 (SEE ** NOTE BELOW)with many days left to go.

Perhaps the PCGS price guide is too low on this mercury dime?

** Interesting, the high bidder must have deleted his bid today (August 25th) so the highest bid dropped back down to the previous $402.50 level. I wonder if my post here had something to do with it.
