Historically, when you have a circle like this (Texas beat Oklahoma, who beat Tech, who beat Texas) the last one to lose ends up on the bottom and the first one to lose ends up on top. That would leave Oklahoma over Texas over Tech. I don't think there is a "right" answer to how to rank teams in a situation like this, but I expect that Oklahoma will jump Texas.
This is for you @thisistheshow - Jim Rice was actually a pretty good player.
There's really no point to getting worked up over where 'Bama is currently ranked. If they beat Florida then they will be #1 and deserve it; if they lose to Florida then the point is moot. They will end up ranked where they deserve to be ranked one way or the other.

The BCS standings will determine which team from the Big 12 gets in if Texas and OU win out. The voters should take into consideration that Texas already beat OU at a nuetral site. They beat them pretty good too. Texas lost their only game on the road against a Top 10 team on the last drive of the game at the end of a tough four game stretch. Texas Tech just finished their tough stretch, and look how they played after being bumped and bruised after all those games. Not too good, eh ? Oklahoma didn't really have a tough four game stretch.
Look at these schedules.........and their toughest stretches.....
Texas Tech..... 11/1 beat Texas 11/8 beat OSU (had an off week) 11/22 lost to OU
Oklahoma....It could either be........
10/11 lost to Texas (nuetral site) 10/18 home win against Kansas
or
This two game stretch against Tech and at OSU
Now, look at Texas..................
10/11 (W) Texas (nuetral site) 10/18 (W) Missouri 10/25 (W) OSU 11/1 (L) at Texas Tech
Texas was the only team this year that had four straight games against Top 20 opponents in four straight weeks besides Arkansas. Plus, you have to take into account that Texas really beat OU pretty good on a nuetral site. I think it's a no brainer, but we'll have to wait and see.
<< <i>Anyone here actually think Bama could beat any of the other top 4 teams right now? >>
Yes, Alabama is the best team in the country still. C'mon JS, you're kidding right ? You know your football pretty good.
Bama's OL and DL are pure beef, probably the best in the country. Fitzgerald is the best kicker in the country, and Bama's special teams are just as good if not better then Florida. Bama's WR and RB are just as good as any other pair in the country. Their secondary is probably better then Florida because their pass rush is so effective. The only reason Florida may have a slight edge over Bama is because Tebow is much better then JPW. And besides Houston Nutt (Ole Miss), Nick Saban is the best game coach in the SEC, but Meyer is pretty good too.
Now, having said that, they have one heck of a test against Florida in the SEC championship game, as Florida is right up their with them. The only reason Florida can beat them is because of Tebow.
Bama has played no one and have looked bad doing it. Escaped Kentucky AND LSU and both of those teams are bad. I don't know why people keep putting Ohio State on their good list, they just arn't and we can all agree that Missouri would be the 4th or 5th best team if they were in the other Big 12 divison. If Bama does manage to beat UF, which they won't, they will have played and beaten one good team, while the teams behind them will have beaten 2-3 great teams. If you are going only on record, then you have to move Utah up!
will show the large benefit of a playoff system for college FB. Besides increased revenue for the schools and their respective conferences, the fans will have a more deserving National Champ.
This aint no party,... this aint no disco,.. this aint no fooling around.

Bama was 7-0 before Ole Miss was the first team to take a lead on them all season. Ole Miss kicked a field goal in the 1st quarter, and then Bama outscored them 24-0 to take a 24-3 halftime lead.
Ole Miss is 7-4. Georgia is 9-2. Bama lead #1 Georgia 31-0 at halftime, beating the snot out of them in every aspect of the game.
How can Bama "look bad" when they always are leading ? The only teams they trailed were LSU and Ole Miss
