I was able to buy one US coin- a Seated Dollar- first year of the series

short... to the point...

And now for the unedited rambling...

I stopped at many tables and there did not seem to be the usual supply of generic gold on hand. While there was some better date material. The Saturday crowd was okay, but many dealers managed to leave before 2PM. PCGS accepted coins on Saturday until 2 and NGC stopped at 1. The overall traffic appeared lighter than usual.

There was an excellent selection of high end and low end material and not much in between. I am not trying to be critical, but it seems that folks looking for original coins in QUALITY VF to AU had their work cut out... not much is available. Seated Dollars and early WLHs are the usual examples. I did not see a decent 1919-d WLH on the floor worthy of a VF30-EF45 grade. In all fairness, there were some Seated Dollars but the nice ones that caught my eye were ones I already had. I must have seen at least 3 very attractive 1846 Seated Dollars that were in the 45 range.

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.

I found the show to be slow, did not find any great coins to buy and did not see much money changing hands.
I seldom check PM's but do check emails often jason@seated.org
