washington quarters guess what slabbed and bagged...

these three came from a library of coins album i bought a few years back. all have similar toning. some in the album had toned, some had not. i see the same in my danscos where some coins tone and some do not. these pics are straight on and captures details such as contact marks but lacks color and luster but they do NOT look like the coin in hand. the last pic shows what the coins look like in hand. guess which graded and which one(s) BB`d. guess the grades of the slabbed ones if you like. i know i need to buy mark`s book but then it would cost me 1-2k in new cam/lighting equipmentimage

I am not going to guess grades for these. I would if I had ever submitted clad a Washington. I will one of these days. I have bought some that have toned and appreciate your issue

Agreed, however judging by these shots alone
I would think all of them should have bagged!image

    Just my honest opinion, FWIW!

    '69 bb'ed because they'd have to grade it a 65.

    '71 MS-64

    '82-P MS-65

Pretty nice coins for a dansco.

Of course if you're asking because they messed it up then I'll change my guess to they graded the '69 as a 64 and others BB'ed.

69 and 71 went MS64, the 82 BB`d. no rhyme or reason. they all have similar toning.

edited to say they look way better in hand than these pics. this is why i say they are grading tight on this stuff right now.

See that milky looking stuff on the Obverses?

That "stuff" could be a reason for low grades and or BBs.

There is a way to prep them that removes that stuff safely.

Had you taken these pix and studied them and saw this you

could have done something to improve your coins' chances

that DOES NOT involve dipping or chemicals.image

The '82 looks dipped and stripped of original skin especially in the field on the obverse. A 'washed out' look to me.
