Rosemont (IL) Show

Normally I attend on Friday or Saturday, but can't make it there until tomorrow. Planning to get Don Sutton and Whitey Ford's signature. But for those who attended thus far, how is it ? Any deals to be had ? How slow is the crowd... this is the first big show around here since the financial crisis, and I'm curious how it's going.

Thanks !

I attended the show on Friday and the turnout was great. The line to get in was snaking through all the corridors and seemed like it went on forever. I only picked up commons for my sets so I'm not sure if there were deals to be made.

Not a bad show today. Seem to be a less people than the last sun times show.. To be honest I did not hear too much about the economy. At least nonthing that we all don't already know. I was there to submit a submission and to use the onsite grading which is always nice. PSA seemed to have the usual amount of people submitting and the Beckett booth looked empty all day.Jennie Finch had a pretty long line! There must of been at least three other shows today at the convention including the Vette show which took every parking spot in the garage. Parking was brutal and may take the train tomorrow.

A friend of mine just called me from the show and picked up over $3,000 of some of the cleanest 47' to 66' Exhibit cards (ungraded) he has personally ever seen. Grades soon to follow...................
