Anybody want a 39D Jefferson DDO#1 PCGS MS66?

Okay, my coin fund money is tapped this month... and there is the very real possibility the coin listed here is a DDO#1... the picture here is kind of blurry, but I think I see three of the diagnostics for the DDO#1 on THIS COIN.

The price is kind of high for a regular 39D MS66 coin, but if someone's interested, have fun.

BTW, it ain't my coin... I have absolutely no interest in selling it. I just think it's an unattributed DDO#1...

If you know what to look for, you can faintly see what appears to be the diagnostics. If you have Wexler and Ribar's book on Jefferson Doubled Dies, you can figure it out too.

Merry Early Christmas,

    I always thought a DDO IS/WAS a variety... am I wrong?

    Steve,
The 1939-D DDO#1 has the Rev38 steps, this is a Rev40. However, a nice coin and maybe price is a little high? Looks like pretty nice strike and step detail.

It is a nice looking coin and I bought it with the 25% cash back, so I'm ok with it, DDO or not.
