Grade my coin (1857 N Indies 2 1/2 cent)

Still trying to figure out this whole grading business.

This seller put on a nice big photo, I guess that raises price:

How does this one grade? I paid VF book value.

    looks like there might be some light wear on the middle beads of the crown and high points on the lion

    Nicer than mine... image Honestly, I would put it at EF (I tend to be conservative too)

    EF is definitely reasonable given the marks on the rim, and on the side with the shield

    I'm with the AUers - It will depend on luster seen in hand, though it looks like it's there - just no obvious in those pics.
