Lions get TV blackout for third home game in a row

Lions vs Bucs at Ford Field gets the local TV blackout when 6000-7000 tickets remained unsold at the deadline.

Will the Thanksgiving game be #4? I wouldn't be surprised. A really bad economy and a really bad team are creating a perfect storm
situation for the Lions.

This is actually a good thing since the substitute game being shown will be Jets-Titans. Now that is a game I would much rather see anyway.

I would love to see the bucs, but they have been sold out at home since 99.

We only go to about 2 games a year, but me and my friends/family just stand outside the stadium and scalp em, or buy from stubhub if we want to guarantee a seat. Plus my older sis lives about 2 minutes up Himes (the road that Ray Jay and Yankees FL headquarters are on) so we have a home base that allows us to park for free and walk to the stadium early. Next year I'll only be about 15 minutes away at USF too, so I'm looking forward to spending A LOT of time at Ray Jay (USF plays there too).

Me and a friend are about to pull the trigger on a pair of tickets for the Dec. 21st Sunday Night game vs. the Chargers for UNDER face value, that are being sold to us by a friend of my buddy, who happens to be a season ticket holder.
