help please on the silver pandas

I'm traveling in Asia away from my numis library in Bangkok. Can anyone please help me out with the mintage of the 2008 SILVER pandas, and what the issue price was?

Also, the mintage of the 1996 SILVER half-ouncer and, again, the issue price.

If you take what ever the spot price of Silver was at the time and add
25% to 75% (depending on the issue) you would get the approx issue price from a Chinese bank.
This of course was then.

If on the other hand you are looking to source Pandas in China, the
prices have gone up there also. I have several Chinese contacts over
there looking for me and have concluded that the deals are gone.

Yes, the deals ARE done. A colleague had an employee in Hong Kong search for the silver pandas. She checked out more than a dozen cealers including the BAnk of China. She found only 150 one-ouncers on the island, which went for $24.35 each. The half ouncers were just as rare; she was onlyable to locate 148, of assorted dates, which she bought for $18 and change.
