Didnt expect much more on the Brett due to centering issues. Not sure what happened on the Ted Williams anf the Thomas is a complete surprise. The Thomas had four sharp, 50/50 centering, no chipping on the black borders, even checked it for surface problems since it was such a low dollar item, only was going to send it in if it had a chance at a 10.

Overall pretty much what I expected. The Gwynn came from the last group case break a few months ago!

Edited to add: The OPC Duffy, the Pippen and Stockton rookies came from a group bust as well

They always seem give out a few head scratchers. Nice sub.

Nice I always like to see results from group rips. I have (3) '77 OPCs from the group rip that I'm waiting for poppage on. Good times!
  • With the exception of the 2 cards you mentioned, that is an awesome sub. I wish someone would explain to me why PSA is so lax on grading 1987 Fleer basketball but so strict on the 88's.

I know, I thought the Stockton was a great shot at a 9 and it actually looked better than the Pippen

Nice sub. Do you have scans of any othe those cards raw before you sent them in?
  • mtcardsmtcards Posts: 3,340 ✭✭✭
No scans. Will be interesting to see the Thomas though. I didnt figure any of these were big money items, so didnt really protect myself from damage

I believe that should more than cover the cost of the sub if you decide to sell it.
