<< <i>Just a question. How would one authenticate all the no names in the set? Most of them never made it to the bigs and have few or no known examples of their sigs. >>
You bring up a good question. In fact, I wondered that myself during the auction.
I currently have nothing authenticated by JSA. My only experience with them came on a signed 1957 Unitas that they authenticated. The sig did not look like any Unitas sig I had ever seen so I called and asked about it. In the process I was told that they do not even have a database that keeps up with the serial numbers. Where it gets more awkward is that when I asked if they had a money back guarantee on what they certified the voice on the phone said they "were not sure".
