The New York Giants: The Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL

Didn't many people at the beginning of the season say that last season was a one year wonder for the Giants? They ain't get no respect. LOL

"The answer was in the Patriots eyes. Gone were the swagger and c0ck sure smirks, replaced by downcast eyes and heads in hands. For his poise and leadership Eli Manning was named the game's MVP. The 2007 Giants were never perfect nor meant to be. They were fighters, scrappers....now they could be called something else, World Champions."

Uh, I don't think any Patriots fans were saying that. I am not surprised at all that they are the best team in football this year.
  • i think they took the smack talk to heart and really stepped up their game this year. Im very impressed with their consistency.

Them staying healthy has been key, they have a phenominal line and 3 very capable backs to balance a low turnover passing game.

They will be tough to beat.

If I were a Pats fan I think I would feel a very small amount relief knowing that a "fluke" did not end their quest for a undefeated season but a extremely young and talented team that "found" themselves at the perfect time.

Now, by NO MEANS should any Giant fan get too crazy. We all know how this game is.
BUT, being a VERY YOUNG team it should be a pretty safe bet that the Giants will have to be taken seriously for quite awhile past 2008.

No fluke at all -- the Giants outplayed NE and despite that Brady damn near pulled the game out of his ass at the end. It was meant to be after the "helmet" catch.
