looking for good web site ...

Just thought I would ask for advice on a good hosting site for my antiques and collectables.

I know there are some good free ones ... any recommendations and reviews are appreciated.

Explore godaddy.com to see what is available in hosting on the cheap.

    .....

    ecrater.com

    delcampe.com

    ebid.net

    all have traffic, now.

    bonanzle.com likely has some potential.

    ...........

ecrater is excellent, but you have to promote your own stores heavily.
Lots of work. Much cheaper to run than EBAY, and just about as much
    traffic in some categories.

Godaddy's free with ads or spend $4 a month and host it without them. Even cheaper if you buy by the year - gets down to like $3.20 a month.

I have used Hostgo.com for several years and they have good prices and great customer support.

I have an ecrater.com store for my business. I like the fact that it's free, but you don't get very many options when it comes to customization.
You can get a Microsoft Live Small Business website and "frame" and ecrater store into it. Total cost about $8 per year for the domain name.

Here's and example of one I put together for my father's new book. Pretty nice for $8/year.

  • Did you mean an auction type site, or are you looking for hosting to make your own site? For hosting, I use Dreamhost, as well as WebhostingPad. I can get you a discount if you wish to use either of these.

I still use Angelfire. It's free with ads.
