Besides being caucasian, 50, 5'9", bald and right-handed I am a dead-on double for CC. Do you think the Yankees could be fooled into paying me the $140 milliion?

140 million for how many years? I haven't seen anything on this yet. Is this something being guessed at, or is there a reputable source backing this up?

He would certainly help out the Yankees for a few years if they could land him.

Sure is "smart" for some teams to keep throwing around huge amounts of money in this bad economy. I guess these dummies believe the bad economy won't affect them. Wait'll the financially strapped corporations that buy season tickets, start canceling their season tickets, among many other negative things happening. Can you say "NY Yankees chapter 11"?

I still believe that CC would serve his legacy better by staying in the NL. I am quite sure the Red Sox will not be earnestly bidding for his services

Yanks can't buy a championship, hasn't the George learned that yet?

    Sincerely,
    Bobby Abreu

It's a shame the Phils didn't keep Abreu - we coulda won a championship if we had kept him.

Oh that's right, we did win a championship without him. ah Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha..........................................
