Who would've thunk it?

Had quite an epiphany today. I recently purchased a flash for my camera to shoot a friend's birthday party and decided to try it out on coins. After the first series of shots I knew I finally found my set-up for shooting slabbed, crusty yet colorful and lustrous coins.
After years of trying different stationary light set-ups, all I needed was a flash... Who would've thunk it?

<< <i>TwoKopeiki - You have some of the nicest coins (and pics), thanks for the tip. I don't think it will work as well with my mounted flash, if not - no loss (the beauty of digital photography). What do you use to diffuse the light? >>
Thanks everyone!
JoesMaName - I just used the built-in diffuser (the pull-tab one that extends out and over from the top of the flash).
