Last year a MS 64 Oregon sold for 229.
It's been that way for a couple of weeks. A MS 65 Oregon just sold for 149.
Per latest PCGS guide: Oregon 65=330 and 66=440

Thanks for the announcement... great topic by the way!
I think those are "full retail " prices paid by uninformed numbskulls.
Lots of auction coins slip through closer to wholesale, at least that's when I back off. Plus, coins can be "butt- ugly" 5 and 6s too and should sell at a discount, imho.
Some big names trying to sell ugly 66coins
Sure.

The days of sight-unseen are long gone... high technical grading without eye appeal will not get you far, as no one wants to look at an ugly baby.
hani tried to sell three high grade and got no offers to a reasonable price.
And yet, the price guide will show no change.

<< <i>You are correct. The 65 was butt ugly. A mud coin. How they are graded is a guess. >>
They moved the mud to the side for a bit to look underneath!
<< <i>I only quote type price. You must be greedy.

One commem selling lower then expected isn't going to affect any price guides.
