Is this a real Walter Payton RC PSA 10?

Payton RC PSA 10

L/R centering looks suspicious. Perhaps reslabbed. In any event the auction as stated seems rather fishy.

Thoughts?

    I think the pic was put on there to possibly verify that he is the owner of it and has the card in hand and that it isnt a stolen scan

    Edited to say: I hope PSA gives me that much leeway on my centering on my last sub

    Looks like he is proving it's not a stolen scan.

    I think the "per owner" reference means he himself submitted the card to PSA.

    "GEM-MT 10: Gem Mint.

    A PSA Gem Mint 10 card is a virtually perfect card. Attributes include four perfectly sharp corners, sharp focus and full original gloss. A PSA Gem Mint 10 card must be free of staining of any kind, but an allowance may be made for a slight printing imperfection, if it doesn't impair the overall appeal of the card. The image must be centered on the card within a tolerance not to exceed approximately 55/45 to 60/40 percent on the front, and 75/25 percent on the reverse.

    /////////////////////////////

    Maybe PSA should tighten the centering ratios.

    Until they do, 10s with ZERO eye-appeal will continue being born.

    It's just a way to prove that the card is actually "in hand" and not an image stolen from elsewhere. Pretty standard practice for some other collectibles, namely Air Jordan shoes. Lots of people won't bid unless there's a "tagged" photo proving that you have them and own them.

    A wise man(Ymarea) once told me why would you sell a HIGH value card and not give a huge and clear picture?
