Bad clock management by the 49ers probably cost them the game last night

45 seconds to go with no time outs and you are down by the goal line but can't get your men on the field and into position in a
timely manner for a quick snap and spike of the ball for a time out. Unbelieveable. I'm sure it cost them at least one play because they
were too slow to get into position. And what was with that handoff at about 2 1/2 yards as time ran out? of course the runner got stopped, wasen't even close, a quick pass in the end zone would have made more sense at that point.

It helped me win my PSA FF game, so I have to thank the SF offensive coach for that, whoever that is now. I imagine that is the person responsible for getting him men on and off the field, which was more of the problem, then getting up to spike the ball. Hard to get ready for a spike when men are coming off and on and no one seems to understand where they are suppose to be.
But yes, had they moved like a pro team, they have given Gore three shots at it. I think in that case they likely would have won.
Until those last set of plays, the 49ers did look pretty good...much better then they have this year.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
got caught up in a disorganized and confusing situation.

The referee had let them lineup, and then started the clock. Spike the dang ball! Then huddle up, gather the troops, and then run an organized play on 4th down. Why the panic?
