I never got to see Herb play, but growing up in NE Ohio I listened to Herb on the radio when games weren't televised as much.
Next to Feller and Colavito, Herb was one of the most popular Indians.

    He will be missed.

More like injury. One line drive off the bat of Gil McDougald.

These things always happen in threes... I wonder who's next.

Sucks about Herb Score. I also live in NE Ohio, so he was a big deal around here.

RIP Herb, you'll always be a big name for us Cleveland Fans.
  • Herb Score was the pitching equivalent of Tony Conigliaro.
What might have been without the injuries?!?

    RIP Herb.
