I will eventually get my price, if not here, somewhere else.
Yeah. Somewhere where people are less informed (I'm sure).
If you're so SURE it's "worth" 4k why not let it go no reserve on eBay like Russ? I'll tell you why. 4k is the "shot" (sucker) price - that's why.

I have no idea why you feel it necessary to diss someone over the asking price of his coin!
If he want's to get $4,000 for it, so what? Prospective buyers who have 4 grand to toss around should have enough numismatic and commen sense to decide for themselves.
edited for speeling!
The name is LEE!
You were neither invited, nor wanted here for your dogged comments about a coin someone is selling.
Please crawl back under your rocks and let this PCGS member sell/attempt to sell the coin at his asking price.
You may be shocked to hear, he has the same rights that we would give to you.
Funny how you never dog the MPL guys, nor nag them about posting then letting it run its course without TTT's or other tricks to get around the TTT rule. You are blatent in your disrespect towards anything other than MPL threads.
<< <i>Take a closer look at the Coin on EBAY its up to $1,136.00 in day one of the action. I also love you stat guys pulling your links out to show us all to the great cheaper auction, as though your the hall monitor reporting someone for coming to class late. The great thing about a coin is you dont have to Feed It, Water It or Take It Outside.

Heh, the "Hall Monitor" said my 34-D VAM 4 DDO Peace Dollar was "way overpriced" when it was at $1,000, and it closed at $2,380!
Remember, overpaying, even by a large margin, isn't a big deal if you are doing something FOR FUN. I don't profit off any my other hobbies (boating, vacations, buying stuff for my wife, my game room), so why would I care if I profit off coins? I have a real job too, and I turn a profit there so that people like the OP can turn a profit doing what he does for a living.
Give the guy a break!
He has a great coin that will sell for something near $4,000 if not $4,000. And you know what? If some guy like me that collects the Kennedy Proofs pays $4,000 he isn't going to be sad about it for 1 second. In fact, he'll be quite pumped!
I always thought that a fair price was what someone is willing to pay and another is willing to sell for? I would rather see a listing like the OP has done with this thread, he has at least stated a price instead of saying "PM me your best offer". If someone doesn't like the price, move on, just move on, they have no dog in the race any way.
JMHO,
Tim
Do you think PCGS guide pricing for a pop 18/8 coin (with only 72 at any grade) is "moon money"? For a coin that is one of the KEY's to the series.
I've seen moon money on this board. Lots of times. This is not it.
This may be a "healthy price" but it is no way near moon money.
Hm, maybe $4,000 is a tad high
I still say $4,000 isn't "moon money" though.
<< <i>Yeah you're right. The 72%+ premium the asking price was over market was not moon money. It was just space station money (which is astronomical nonetheless). >>
and you're still an ass.
<< <i>AND YOU'RE STILL THAT JERK THAT THREATENED PHYSICAL VIOLENCE ON A PUBLIC FORUM >>
Roger, maybe a trip to Dullass might be in order- teach you a bit on manners and actuality not reality, a good ass whoopin sounds like you need it to bring you back to being an adult and not a whiny little child as you act.
Behave like an adult and people might treat you like one.
Off your meds again or just in A HOLE?
