I remember opening those back in 75. My mom taking me to the Auburn Mall and either getting her to by me some of these or a new matchbox car. Sometimes both.

The reason for the progressive photos is because there are so many people who are skeptical of anything like this. I wanted to take the authenticity question out of the equation and focus on the cards.
I have yet to decide as to what I am going to do. I may sell some racks, keep them all intact, rip a few or a combination of sell and rip.
If I do sell, people are going to question the legitimacy of the racks, I wanted to make sure that was covered.
We always read about “dealers” getting stuff like this and I just wanted everyone to know that one of the regular collectors “board members” got it and not a dealer.

I usually drink 3 or 4 cups of coffee every morning to wake up. Today I only needed one sip and this thread. Looks like those have some very nice centering overall. Plus, the Ryan on top should fetch a pretty penny. If you decide you need some assistance in opening any of those I will PM you my phone number.

You're right, it is a female holding the knife.

It's pretty obvious especially after seeing the wedding ring in picture #5.

Also, picture #5 looked like an accident waiting to happen!

When using a box cutter or exacto knife .... "Always cut away from your other hand, not towards it!"

No I am not redsports dog on ebay.

Yes, I did get the case from him, it was the only one he had.

I drove to Austin, Texas and picked it up in person.

The box in the OP's pics is definitely the same box as on the ebay auction.

That being said...I say rip some of those bad boys.

It looks to me like the cards are in good enough condition that you should be able to open a few racks for grading and sell enough to get back some money. I would bet if you were spending that type of money it was to OPEN not to sell. Either way good luck and keep the pictures coming.
