SUCCESS:
-received November 19, 2008, steve balboni autographed baseball card in blue sharpie, sent him 3 baseball cards (2 of him on the yanks, 1 of him on the mariners), sent a letter too, talked about him and the yankees, he returned all three cards, but signed only one of them (the mariner's one), i thought he'd sign all three, if not, atleast one of the yankees' cards after i mentioned the yanks in the letter, didn't personalize either (i asked if he could), just signed it, envelope was postmarked November 17, 2008, though i can't complain, a success is a success still (16 days)
-received December 3, 2008, rick cerone autographed baseball card in blue sharpie, didn't personalize either (i asked if he could), just signed it, enveloped was postmarked December 1, 2008 (6 days)

The same is true of Terry Bradshaw (his brother signs his TTM items). Terry has even confirmed this stating he hasn't signed through the mail since he retired.

RIP GURU
<< <i>Nolan Ryan will only sign for something like 60 bucks . >>
Nolan Ryan signs through his foundation for the following prices.
Price Item
$35.00 Each Signed Flat Item 5" x 7" or smaller (such as baseball cards or game tickets)
$55.00 Each Baseball or Signed Flat Item Larger than 5" x 7"
$80.00 Each Signed Cap or Glove
$105.00 Each Signed Bat or Jersey
$18.00 Each Personalization or Stat (324 wins, 5714 K's, HOF '99, etc.)
He is a generous person and his prices are quite reasonable for his status compared to people like Ripken Jr., Reggie Jackson, etc.
The only drawback is that his turnaround time is very, very, very slow though since he got his new job with the Rangers.

Take care,
Mike
before i sent any of these, i checked with a few sites and made sure the address is correct, still got 4/6 failures, 2 weeks and no success yet.

<< <i>Funny about BALBONI only signing his Mariners card. Is he still sore about being traded ? >>
I doubt that was it because he signed this one for me TTM in Royals uniform. A lot of players won't sign their yankees cards. It was either David Wells or Roger Clemens who said they won't sign Yankee cards. They said that's something for only their kids will have.
Wantlist:
2001 Fleer Genuine Elston Howard Material Issue Jersey
2001 Leaf Certified Jackie Robinson Fabrics of the Game Jersey #32
say i get back around 75% of what i send out signed.
