Loyalty of Raider nation starting to crack - home game blacked out this week

The Raiders-Panthers game in Oakland gets a local TV blackout this week due to not selling out. I guess dressing like Halloween for a game
is losing its appeal when you are 2-6 and going nowhere.

Misery loves company as the Lions home game against the Jags is also blacked out for the second home game in a row.

I hope this means that my local affiliate will carry another game and not just run infomercials. Being in Northern California sucks because every week we have to watch the 49ers and the Raiders. Neither team is good and neither team is fun to watch.

1-8 Bengals have a BYE. No game equals no loss!

So Sunday we get:
8-0 Titans at 5-3 Bears
4-4 Packers at 4-4 Vikings

4-4 Colts at 6-2 Steelers

7-1 Giants at 5-3 Eagles

I figure I have until 4pm EST to get my yardwork done.
Then it's time for some Steeler football.

I only have to suffer through the Chiefs. Have been pretty lucky that the Chiefs are usually the early game and another game is shown at the same time.

That's why I love DirecTV. As an ex-New Yorker living in South Carolina, the local choices were always the Panthers and the Falcons which certainly didn't appeal to me. Now I can watch the G-men every week!
